Services
Services are the building blocks of every Nouva project.
Service types
- App services run your web or API application.
- Worker services run background jobs and async workloads.
- Database services provide managed PostgreSQL or Redis.
Service lifecycle
Each service has its own deployments, logs, and settings. Services can be restarted, scaled, and rolled back without affecting other services in the project.
Connecting services
Database credentials and service endpoints are exposed through environment variables. This makes it easy to connect apps and workers without manual configuration.
